I am currently into a certain poker site. Well, some of the players in there are arguing whether or not it’s possible to have 5 aces because of cards being shared. A particular guy, who started the argument said that in skalansky’s book, it is possible. But many of us haven’t read the book yet and so we’re totally clueless about what he’s talking about.
Could you help me out?
Thank you.

Eddiejoe,
In a typical card game that does not include wild cards, it is not possible to have five aces. There are only four aces in a deck. If the game includes wild cards, then it is possible to have five aces. If there are multiple wild cards, such as a game where jokers and deuces play wild, you may even have a remote possibility of two players having five aces.
